Responsibilities:
Manage and contract transportation providers (road and air), ensuring service level, cost efficiency, and operational performance.
Perform delivery follow-up, SLA control, and support critical operations (just-in-time, strategic customers, and e-commerce).
Handle transportation incidents (damages, losses, delays) and coordinate resolution with carriers and customers.
Execute routing activities, spot freight negotiations, and operational feasibility analysis.
Monitor monthly shipment volumes (approximately 800–1,000 invoices).
Track and analyze KPIs (SLA, freight cost, return rate, freight invoice review), proposing continuous improvement initiatives.
Operate transportation and ERP systems (SAP, PSI – internal system) and use Excel extensively for controls and analysis.
Act as the transportation focal point for Brazil operations (plant and São Paulo office).
Requirements
English proficiency for daily business communication (mandatory).
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
Solid experience in domestic transportation, including road and air modes.
Previous experience in multinational companies (mandatory).
Strong background in carrier management, performance indicators, and freight cost control.
Advanced Excel skills (Power BI is a plus).
Experience with ERP systems (SAP required; TMS or proprietary systems as a plus).
